Hey guys. I guess it’s time for me to tell you more about Paramore. This is one of my english assignment, and I hope you guys like it. So here it is!

Paramore is an alternative band that came from Nashville, Tennessee consisting of 5 members, which are Hayley Williams (vocalist), Jeremy Davis (bassist), Taylor York (guitar), Josh Farro and Zac Farro (former). The band was signed to Atlantic Records and Fueled By Ramen until now. The band started when Hayley found a cover band that was looking for a vocalist. Josh, Zac, and Jeremy finally got a singer for their band, even though Hayley was the only girl. They gradually formed an official band since 2004, and they began to create their first album titled ‘All We Know is Falling’ (2005). At that time, Jeremy backed away, and Jason Bynum was the rhythm guitarist. Even though Jeremy wasn’t there, the band still working on their career. Jason then replaced with Hunter Lamb.
On 2007, Hunter decided to leave the band on 2007, while the band started to create another album titled ‘RIOT!’. They titled it because riot meant ‘a sudden outburst of uncontrolled emotion’ and it was a word that ‘summed it all up’. The band continued their career and decided to make another album, titled ‘Brand New Eyes’. This album was out on 2009, and this was the year where Taylor York, the man whose been working for Paramore’s career through all these years (as a touring member, and also took part in Conspiracy song), became an official member of Paramore, as the rhythm guitarist. But everything changed on December 18th, 2010 where the Farro brothers, both Zac and Josh decided to left the band. Josh felt that Hayley was actually the front woman that were signed to Atlantic Records without the rest of the band, but they said (the rest of the band) that they felt the statement was irrelevant, as they were being interviewed on MTV, ‘The Last Word’. Even though the Farro brothers left, the three of them, Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor, still continue their career with additional players, Justin York, brother of Taylor York, and Josh Freese. And now, Josh Farro and Zac Farro decided to be the lead guitarist and drummer for a band called Novel American, as a result from their departure.
The word ‘Paramore’ itself came from one of their friend’s mom’s maiden name, which was Paramore, and they found out that the meaning was ‘secret lover’ and ‘for love’ which they thought was really cool and represented them well. Paramore’s album through all these years are three, which are, All We Know is Falling (2005), RIOT! (2007) and Brand New Eyes (2009). They also have Extended Plays, such as The Summer Tic EP (2006), 2010 Summer Tour EP (2010), and The Only Exception EP (2010). They recorded their live concert in UK and Chicago, and appeared in album, which are Live in the UK (2008) and The Final Riot! (2008). Paramore appeared in Twilight movie soundtrack, which are ‘Decode’ and ‘I Caught Myself’ on 2008. There are also several B-sides which are not included in the studio albums, and some of them were covers of another band’s songs. Besides making albums, the band were present in a video game called Rock Band, featuring the band’s hit song, That’s What You Get.
Paramore have won several awards, and some of them were Kerrang! Awards as the Best Album (Brand New Eyes), MTV Europe Music Awards as the Best Alternative Band, MTV Video Music Brazil as the Best International, People Choice Awards as the Best International Band, Teen Choice Awards, Woodie Awards, and many more. Their records, RIOT!, went platinum in US, and went gold in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and UK.
Until now, Paramore is a band, and they won’t stop singing for us. Now, it’s time for us to show them how much we love them, and we will always be there to support them. I hope that Paramore will keep on rocking, and my heart will be always for them.
